MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. -- The Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) Warfighter Support Division (WSD) continues to prioritize modern warfare capabilities through pioneering Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions. As the Marine Corps integrates advanced mobile technology into operations, WSD ensures that Marines have secure, reliable, and scalable mobile solutions to enhance mission effectiveness across multiple domains.
WSD is strengthening the Marine Corps' ability to rapidly provision and manage Tactical End User Devices (EUDs), with fully operational cloud and on-premises MDM hubs located on the West Coast, East Coast, and Japan. These capabilities have already proven critical in supporting deployed Marines, in exercises such as Cobra Fury 25.1, and real-world operations to include the southern border missions.
WSD’s EUD solutions are built to work smoothly with essential Marine Corps tactical communication systems, providing strong, secure battlefield connections and ensuring they work well together. This extends beyond traditional USMC forces and bridges gaps between joint forces and partner forces. By ensuring interoperability between these systems and partner force networks, WSD is maximizing digital command and control capabilities while reducing operational risk.
In supporting the Presidential Action “Securing Our Borders,” WSD has repurposed program of record devices to interface directly with external agencies. WSD has also enabled operational elements by providing access to a Sensitive but Unclassified-Encrypted (SBUe) Tactical Mission Network (TMN), a cybersecure infrastructure designed for modular connectivity of sensors, leaders, and law enforcement officers. This capability supports the rapid execution of the targeting/information cycle in a partner-focused environment.
WSD provided direct network access to SBU-E, a cloud-based backbone, with local hosting options and hybrid cloud/on-premises flexibility, ensured secure and scalable mission execution. WSD has enabled situational awareness, sensor data sharing, and real-time mission execution at the speed of relevancy through an established federation with Army forces and Customs and Border Patrol.
From Cobra Fury 25.1 where WSD provided critical hands-on support for TAK and MUOS integration, to border security deployments, where MDM enabled secure mobile command and control, WSD’s expertise has already proven essential in real-world applications. As the Marine Corps continues its digital transformation, WSD remains the premier force in advancing tactical mobile solutions for future expeditionary operations.
