Test and Engineering Division performs Program Engineering, Developmental, Cyber, Shipboard, and concept-based testing and experimentation of existing and emerging USMC C5I systems in support of the acquisition community and the naval enterprise; coupled with Military Standards expertise to achieve interoperable, integrated, and certified solutions to meet USMC, Joint, and Mission Partner requirements.

C4I PROGRAM SUPPORT BRANCH

Provides C5I program/system test and engineering services across the acquisition lifecycle in order to provide decision makers with timely, accurate, and comprehensive information to support programmatic decisions.


INTEGRATION AND INTEROPERABILITY BRANCH

Conducts C5ISR System of Systems integration, testing, and experimentation across the Naval, Joint, and Coalition enterprise in order to evaluate and enhance warfighting capabilities. Works collaboratively with deploying USMC Marine Expeditionary Units, SPMAGTFs, and respective Navy ships force personnel to perform C4I systems integration prior to the units first at sea period in order to enhance force readiness and capabilities.


TACTICAL COMMUNICATIONS BRANCH

Provides engineering and testing services on tactical radios, satellite communication systems, communications security (COMSEC), and Position Navigation and Timing to support system and programmatic communications requirements across the electromagnetic spectrum.


CYBER ASSESSMENT BRANCH

Conducts mission-focused adversarial cybersecurity assessments of Programs of Record and system-of-systems in order to support validation of cyber survivability and operational resilience in a representative operational environment. The MCTSSA Cyber team is formally designated as the Marine Corps Blue Team.


MILITARY STANDARDS & DATA MANAGEMENT BRANCH

Provides expert USMC-centric representation for all tactical data standards across the Joint, NATO, and Coalition enterprise in order to ensure the tactical data exchanges support USMC doctrine, procedures, and operational requirements. Provides technical support for test and engineering events through the employment of instrumentation, automation, modeling, simulation, statistical methods, data collection, and tactical data link analysis in order to ensure repeatable and rigorous testing.
